Frequently Asked Questions
This is by far the most common question we get, as well as the hardest one to answer. The price of your order comes down to how complex the design is, how big the design is, how many garments you need, the style of garments, how soon you need your order, and about a dozen other factors.
The best way to get an exact price is to fill out the quote request form on our site. We’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible
On average, orders take about 5-7 business days to complete. Though we don’t have an official “rush service”, if you need something sooner to meet a deadline please let us know and we can see about moving you up the line.
Though we have no official “price-match guarantee”, we do our best to price-match with our competitors. In most cases, we’re already the most inexpensive option.
If you have a quote from someone else, don’t be afraid to shoot it over. We’re more than happy to take a look.
Our sample policy:
Usually, we do not accept orders under 10 pieces. We can provide samples for a potential, larger job, but they will be expensive- when/if you come back to place a larger order, we will discount the price of the samples from your new order.
We work with multiple wholesalers in Illinois and carry about three dozen brands. Below are just some of the more popular options..
Basic tees/hoodies: Gildan, Hanes, Jerzees, Fruit of the loom
Fashion tees/hoodies: Next Level, Bella + Canvas, Champion, Anvil, Comfort Cotton
Workwear/uniforms: Dickies, Columbia, Harriton, Devon & Jones
This depends on the project.
We prefer to print on our own apparel, and it is cheaper in most cases to print on our garments. However, if you’ve already purchased your own blanks or wish to print on something we may not offer, feel free to ask.
What can’t we do?
Depending on the scope of your project, we offer full color screen printing, vinyl printing, transfer printing, DTG printing, and embroidery.
If you’re looking for something specific, feel free to ask. Otherwise, we can pick the printing method that we think best suits your needs.
We work mostly with schools and small businesses, though we’re happy to work with individual buyers on Birthday tees, Wedding gifts, and more.
We’re currently based in Skokie, but our clients come from all over Chicagoland.
In 2021 we are planning a move to Northbrook & High land park, which will help us service customers from those areas as well as Kenilworth, Winnetka and Wilmette.
Monthly Update (02/21):
Skokie Valley Printing may be moving! We are growing fast and looking at several warehouse locations in Highland Park, Northbrook, and the Wilmette/Evanston area.
This doesn’t mean we’re losing focus on our Skokie area clients, in fact, we’re more active than ever in our home town. This move will just make it easier to service the clients we already have in Highland Park and Northbrook, as well as put us closer to some printing partners we have in the Northern suburbs to speed up our supply chain.
The move is scheduled for late Spring/early Summer and nothing is set in stone yet, but nevertheless it warrants a small blurb on the site.
